Salvatore Ferragamo

The designer SALVATORE FERRAGAMO was born in 1989 in Bonito, a little town in the Italian region of Campania and he was only 9 years old when he created his first pair of shoes. After studying Shoe design in Nápoles, he opened a little shop in his parent’s house.

In 1914 the shoe designer moved to Boston where he started to work in a boot’s factory for cowboys. Years later, together with his brothers, he moved to Hollywood where he became successful designing made-to-measure shoes for celebrities and characters of that time.
