Viktor Horsting y Rolf Snoeren se conocieron mientras cursaban sus estudios de moda en la Academia de Arte y Diseño Arnhem de los Países Bajos. Fundaron su marca en 1993 con la presentación de su primera colección llamada “Hyères”. Pronto se hicieron conocidos mundialmente por sus diseños de Prêt-à-Porter y Alta Costura. En 2005 firmaron un acuerdo con el grupo L’Oréal y donde comenzarían a crear los perfumes Viktor & Rolf, fue entonces cuando lanzaron su primer perfume Flowerbomb.
